Amr Singh is a Cape Town born filmmaker and Creative Director of The Fort.  As Fort Films’ in-house director, Amr has been at the helm of a number of music videos, documentaries, television productions and commercials.
 
With a degree in film, as well as anthropology from the University of Cape Town, Amr affords a unique mix of sensibility and creativity to his productions.  His charismatic yet practical nature allows him to approach any brief with artistic vision as well as, a focus on client needs.
 
As the Creative Director of The Fort, Amr’s understanding of the media landscape as well as his ability to create visually compelling products has seen the company grow dramatically over the last three years.
 
More recently, Amr has received major recognition in long form storytelling after the success of his documentary, Hamba Dompas Woza ID.
